Compact 48V Power for Limited Spaces
The LFP4820 is a 48V 20Ah lithium iron phosphate battery built for small scale energy needs where space and weight matter. Storing 960 watt hours, it fits into wall mounted racks or narrow cabinets thanks to its 88mm slim profile and 13kg total weight. The SPCC steel housing protects against dust and light impact (IP30). An integrated BMS handles all safety functions while RS485 and RS232 ports allow connection to external displays or inverters.

What’s Inside
Nominal voltage is 48V and capacity is 20Ah. Energy content is 960Wh. Internal resistance stays ≤30mΩ. Efficiency is 98 percent. Self discharge remains below 5 percent every month. You can expect more than 2000 cycles at 1C rate and 80% DOD with 80% capacity retained. The internal cell arrangement uses 15 cells in series and 3 strings in parallel (15S3P). The case measures 442 by 245 by 88 millimeters. Terminals are M4 size.

Power Delivery
You can draw 20 amps continuously which supports loads up to about 960 watts. For short surges up to 10 seconds, the battery provides 25 amps. The BMS stops discharge at 37.5 volts and reconnects at 40.5 volts. Short circuit protection operates in 300 to 800 microseconds.

Charging the Battery
Use CC CV charging with voltage between 53.25V and 54.75V. For float charging keep the voltage at 50.6V to 51.75V when the battery is full. Standard charging uses 10 amps to maximize life. If you need faster charging you can go up to 20 amps. The BMS cuts off charging at 54.75 volts.

Temperature Limits
Discharge works from -20°C up to 60°C. Charging is allowed only from 0°C to 55°C. Storage is safe from -20°C to 60°C. The BMS will shut down if internal temperature reaches 60°C.

Installation Advice
